Carbon Credentials’ Charity Initiative (3Ci) is taking on another physical challenge in 2019 to raise money for our wonderful chosen charities SolarAid and Lymphoma Action.

This year, we’re going international and will be tackling the London to Paris Cycle Ride. Covering over 270 kilometres and climbing over 1000ft, this challenge will be a true test of fitness and stamina.

With 11 Carbon Credentials staff on bikes and 2 more in a support vehicle, this is going to be a real team effort and we’re going to make sure this event will be one to remember. We would love to have your support from training right through to the end of the ride.

Donate Now

With a fundraising target of £5,000 we’re eager to take on this challenge and excited about the impact this money will have on the thousands of lives touched by SolarAid and Lymphoma Action.

All donations, support and advice will be greatly appreciated. Be sure to stay up to date with our training, fundraising activities and of course the main event by following our twitter and linkedin.

A little bit about the charities we’re supporting

SolarAid is an international charity that combats both poverty and climate change. They provide access to solar powered lights in some of the most remote regions of Malawi, Senegal and Zambia to help catalyse solar markets and eradicate the kerosene lamp. As a result of SolarAid’s work in Africa, 10 million people now have access to safe, clean solar light, saving 1.52 million tonnes of CO2.

Lymphoma Action are the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the 5th most common cancer. They conduct vital research, and provide invaluable, in-depth, expert information to support both those suffering with lymphoma and their friends and family.

How your money would help:

  • £15 to help a patient who has just been diagnosed with lymphoma to receive the information and support they need, or help fund 3 solar lights meaning 8 people experience better health through reduced indoor air pollution.
  • £40 could help fund a dedicated workshop to empower people affected by lymphoma, or 10 solar lights, saving 10.6 tonnes of CO2.
  • £100 could help in funding a campaign to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of lymphoma, or 25 solar lights, saving families nearly £4,000 on kerosene for lanterns, batteries for torches, and candles, over the lifetime of the light.

Your donation will have an impact no matter what amount.
