Chris joined Carbon Credentials as a Data Scientist, with previous experience as a computational engineer in several engineering consultancies and consultant in a non-profit research organisation. He has extensive knowledge of both building design and operation. He has a keen interest in data and building physics, which he gained through his MSc, MRes and doctoral studies. As part of his doctoral research in Computer Science at UCL, he used machine learning and optimisation to better understand differences between performance predictions and measurements in buildings.
He’s passionate about R&D, data analytics and the application of data science to inform to inform decision-making. Throughout his career he has always focused on sustainability efforts in buildings, which make Carbon Credentials a great fit, pursuing a global low carbon economy.
